Deputy President Dr William Ruto's close ally and Governance Expert Dennis Nthumbi, has alleged that it is the government which mobilized people to attend the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance coalition presidential campaign rally, in Nyeri County yesterday in order to avoid an embarrassment on their candidate due to poor welcome by the Nyeri residents.
Speaking during an interview with K24 television, Nthumbi claimed that the state used the provincial adiministration to mobilize Nyeri residents to attend the Azimio rally yesterday in Nyeri. The state had a hand in that region in order to help the Azimio candidate sell his agendas to the people of the Mountain region, which does not change anything in the Azimio candidate favour since people can be mobilized to lie to him that he has support in that region but in real sense he has no support there.
