His name is Festus Kithinji. He has been vying to be the next Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Mbeu ward, Tigania west subcounty in Meru county under Wiper party ticket. Politics is not an easy venture in the country. It can bring you dissapoitments and heartbreaks especially when you are vying an elective post. Festus is one of the candidates that have conceaded defeat in a very heartbreaking mood.
In a clip, the man showed his disappointment in the people of Mbeu ward and actually he called them liers. He regretted spending all his finances in campaigns just to get zero votes in some polling stations in the ward. He went on to say that at the time of elections, he had nothing in his bank account and he even saved his HELB loan funds just to prepare himself well for the 2022 elections. He congratulated his competitor and he vowed that he will take a break from politics but he will come back for 2027 elections.
