Police in Bungoma on Monday impounded a double cabin pick up issued to the Kimilili CDF office that had been rebranded with UDA colours and was part of the current legislator's campaign cars.
The area legislator, Didmus Barasa accused of the vice has broken his silence laying the blame at the feet of his competitor for 'snitching' on him to the cops.
Taking to his social media pages, Barasa accused his rival of the parliamentary seat, lawyer Brian Khayemba for tweeting lies and forcing the police to raid his compound.
Khayemba is eyeing the Kimilili seat currently occupied by Barasa on the Wafula Wamunyinyi led DAP Kenya ticket.
In his characteristic style, Didmus threw barbs at his opponent whom he alleged to be wayward and was dismissed from the judiciary on allegations of bribery and corruption.
According to Barasa, he had recorded a statement with the police. Barasa then challenged his opponent to a challenge on the ground to win the hearts and votes of Kimilili constituents.
