The incident happened on Monday whereby the Azimio allied leaders attacked Chebukati on the podium ahead of releasing the elections.
The police had to intervene the chaos brought so as to bring peace and order for the scheduled programme to continue.
Although today, Chebukati has breaked silence to those leaders who attacked him urging for their arrest and naming out the commissioners who were also injured on the same incident.
“During the announcement of the presidential results, the Chairman Wafula Chebukati, Commissioners Prof. Abdi Guliye and Boya Molu, and CS/CEO Marjan H. Marjan were physically attacked, assaulted, and injured by persons in the company of certain political leaders,” Chebukati said.
“We call for the arrest and prosecution of these assailants regardless of their political affiliation." Chebukati added.
