As the clock ticks towards the next General Elections duggers have already be drawn in Kakamega county.
Key political figures are already laying the ground for a battle that only the strong will survive.
These battle is pitting three powerful figures in the county.The three leaders who are going to square it out are Dr. Bonny Khalwale famously known as the "bull fighter".He tried in 2017 against the current governor but was beaten hands down.The Dr. Of medicine has said that this time round he is well prepared to take on whoever is ready to face him.He is known for his style of politics that resonate well with the masses. He is known for championing the needs of ordinary citizens.
Honorable Savula the current member of Parliament for Lugari constituency has also indicated that he will be on the ballot for the governorship position.He will heavily rely on the influence of the ANC leader hon Musalia Mudavadi. He has a large following in areas that are perceived to ANC strong holds.
The other figure who will complicate issues for the two candidate is the youthful and vibrant senator Hon Cleophas is eloquent and fluent in articulating issues affecting Citizens.
Since his election as a senator he has organized several tournament that has helped the youth to stay away from trouble.
He is loved by the youth who are majority in the county. The big question is, who will fit in the shoes of the current governor who has performed exemplary well?
