The Deputy President William Samoei Ruto has continued his charm offensive in the Central Kenya region today. He was in Gatanga constituency today for the launch of Wakili Edward Muriu Pesa Mfukoni Bursary Fund at Gatunyu Grounds, Murang'a county.

The Deputy President was accompanied by a large entourage of leaders including Rigathi Gachagua, Ndindi Nyoro, George Koimburi, Gathoni Wamuchomba, Njuguna Wanjiku, Aden Duale, Isaac Mwaura, among many others.
After the launch, which also turned out to be a fundraiser in support of the initiative, the Deputy President made a stop at High Point, Ndarugu, Witeithie and Kimbo, on his way from Gatanga to Juja.
A mammoth crowd turned up to appreciate the DP's stop and listen to what he had to say. The people were actually so many, to the extend that they filled not only the highways, but also the footbridges above.
Here are some photos from the event.
