During and a live interview professor Kagwanja explained why it was difficult to sell DP Ruto in the Mount Kenya region and how they finally managed. He said that the elite shape the politics of Mount Kenya. Kagwanja added that the reason as to why there is so much vote hunting in Mount Kenya is because it is going to be the decisive vote and the leaders from there are working to see a united Mountain.
Kagwanja also advised the clergy and said that what they need to do is unite the country and not Uhuru and Ruto. He stated that the two leaders are in Jubilee and the country is bigger than Jubilee. On his part Farah Maalim said that everybody knows that Ruto ran this country for the first five years. He added that Ruto cannot be part of a political vehicle and when the vehicle fails to deliver he says that he was just a passenger on the vehicle.
Dr. Boni Khalwale made his contribution that Government has only one driver and that is the President. If there are any shortcomings in the Jubilee government, you cannot visit those shortcomings to the Deputy President, Khalwale claimed.
