It is almost four months since President William Ruto took over power from his predecessor former president Uhuru Kenyatta. Since taking over power, President William Ruto has been working around the clock to ensure that he fulfil promises he made to kenyans.
To ensure that he delivers the promises he made to kenyans, President William Ruto on Friday read a riot act to his Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries during a four day retreat in Nanyuki. President Ruto said he will not tolerate any cabinet secretary who will not deliver.
To ensure that this happens, President William Ruto has today signed an Executive Order 1 of 2023. In the new Executive Order, President William Ruto has appointed his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua to be in charge of Coffee Sector Reforms.
During his campaigns, President William Ruto had promised coffee farmers to look into their plight and ensure they get good price of their produce. It is indeed good news to coffee farmers as Rigathi Gachagua will now be in charge of reforms in coffee sector to ensure farmers benefit.
