Setback for a Governor Aspirant in Kisii After His Running Mate Dumps Him To Support His Competitor

The country is a an election mood as they wait for next month so that they can be able to vote for their preferred leaders starting from the president, governors, senators, members of parliament, women representatives and members of county assemblies.

In Kisii, the race to succeed current governor James Ongwae who is serving his last term has attracted a higher number of experienced politicians among them former MP and KNC party leader Manson Oyongo, Dagoretti North member of Parliament Simba Arati, current Kisii senator Sam Ongeri, former CAS Chris Obure and Nyaribari MP Ezekiel Machogu.

Manson Nyamweya Oyongo has been dealt a blow today after his running mate DR. Alfred Ndemo ditched him to endorse Orange Democratic Movement aspirant Simba Arati.

Speaking in Kisii language during a rally with his new political friends, Alfred Ndemo said that he asked his supporters to vote for Manson Oyongo but they denied saying they will support Arati, this has made Alfred Ndemo to seek the Dagoretti MP to work together.
