Alfred Mutua Fires Back On Muthama As Their Drama In UDA Keeps Worsening

The ongoing feud between UDA party chairman Johnson Muthama and Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader Alfred Mutua appears to be worsening.

Despite the fact that they are now in the same political vehicle and are working towards the same goal of supporting DP Ruto's presidential campaign, the two county mates are still finding it difficult to put their disagreements aside.

Governor Alfred Mutua has been obliged to come out boldly and shoot back after his former Senator Johnson Muthama made comments about not being able to share the same platform with him.

As reported by the Star Kenya following the lengthy phone chat, Governor Mutua has stated unequivocally that he has no time for Muthama.

Instead, he is concentrating on helping DP Ruto win the presidential election and will not be sidetracked by former Senator Johnson Muthama's allegations of poor governance and mismanagement of public finances.

He added that he will not be diverted from my work, which is to ensure Ruto wins the presidency and Kenya Kwanza forms the next government, adding that he will not respond to Muthama's claims.

The two Machakos County lawmakers have had a tense relationship for almost nine years, and Johnson Muthama still appears to be standing firm in his belief that Mutua fouled up the people of Machakos and needs to be brought to justice.

In fact, he believes that, in addition to denying the allegations, the governor should repent and apologize to the people of Machakos, as he mentioned earlier when explaining why he and Ruto did not attend the recent protest in Machakos.
