The Azimio La Umoja team is smiling after they welcomed new defectors to their team. Raila was at Chungwa house where he received new members. Among those that joined the Azimio team include Margaret Lamar, senator for Uasin Gishu county, Linah Chebii Kilimo and Sally Kosgey who is the former Member of Parliament for Aldai. David Kimaiyo, former inspector of police was also present during the defection.

This will be a big win for Raila and his team because these three leaders have a lot popularity in their home areas. They will help to pull more supporters for Raila as the election date approaches.
The new signing comes just after the political parties amendment bill was passed to law by president Kenyatta. Raila has promised to register his ODM party under the new law.
