In the recent times, President Uhuru Kenyatta's Cabinet Secretaries have been actively taking part in officiating national government projects.
This made deputy president William Ruto get cut off from the projects that were started by the national government rendering him jobless.
However, his allies have changed tactics and have been inviting him to officiate projects in either their Constituencies or the ones done by the County governments in counties that support the deputy president William Ruto.
On Friday, he was in his Nandi county where he will be sending the weekend after having left his official Karen residence in Nairobi for a weekend in the Rift Valley region.
Among the major projects he officiated are those by the County Government of Nandi with governor Stephen Sang having invited him over.
