Businessman Buzeki Visualizes How He'll Develop Eldoret Town if Elected Next Uasin Gishu Governor

The journey towards elevation of North Rift’s agricultural town, Eldoret, to city status is gathering pace.

In a way to develop the town in Rift Valley has been embarking on fixing sewerage systems and the streets.

The County has contributed at least Sh100 million, as Eldoret also received funding from the World Bank through the Kenya Urban Support Program (KUSP) to make it a city in the near future.

Uasin Gishu politician Bundotich Buzeki who is eyeing the county's seat has now showcased his vision to develop the Eldoret town in the next 20 years. 

He says that when in office, he'll set up new county headquarters outside the CBD so that the iconic and historic town hall is improved to host Eldoret city headquarters. 

He has also said that he will set up Eldoret city industrial park around Maili Tisa and work closely with the National government to make sure that MTRH moves to its proposed new site in Kiplombe.
