Kenyans React to 'Kieleweke' MP Latest Post During His Campaign For Jubilee Candidate in Kiambaa

Hon Ngunjiri Wambugu, who is the current Member of Parliarment for Nyeri Town, and also a close ally to President Uhuru Kenyatta ignited a hot debate online when he was spotted doing this as he was campaigning for Jubilee Party candidate in Kiambaa, Kiambu County. (Courtesy photo)

According to the photo that he posted, he was seen greeting a young kid, said they are looking for all votes.(Courtesy photo)

However, the self-proclaimed 'chief general' for 'Kieleweke' faction visited different places on Tuesday with other jubilee party leaders, trying to solidify votes as By-election approaches. In his speeches, he called upon the kiambaa residents to vote for Kariri Njama as a way of respecting the head of state, who is hailing from the same Kiambu County.(Courtesy photo)

He further said if the party of the 'outsiders' clinches the Kiambaa seat, it will be a big blow to jubilee family, and also a great disrespect to the president Uhuru Kenyatta.(Courtesy photo)

He blasted the Tanga Tanga faction of Jubilee Party for trying to engineer the fall of Jubilee. To him, jubilee party is strong in Mount Kenya, and President Uhuru Kenyatta is still the only kingpin for the region.(Courtesy photo)

It's remembered that Hon Kariri Njama is facing a steep competition from youthful UDA Party candidate, Hon John Nguguna Wa Wanjiku. However, the Kieleweke team exuded a lot of hope that jubilee Candidate shall emerge victorious at the end.

His post attracted several comments from kenyans, Majority of them praised him for supporting Kariri Njama in kiambaa. But however, others told him that Kiambaa now is under UDA Party candidate.
