Deputy President William Ruto who's one of the top presidential contestants in the coming general election has revealed that there are some politicians who are trying to block him from vying for the top seat in 2022.
According to the report from The Standard, Deputy President William Ruto claims that president Uhuru Kenyatta and former prime minister Raila Odinga are looking for strategies that will ensure that he fails to appear in ballot box.
He warns them to stop doing so and instead focus on working for the people of Kenya. This comes just some days after revealing that he's ready to reunite with the president for the benefit of the country.
It's alleged that Uhuru Kenyatta is planning to endorse former prime minister Raila Odinga and that might be the reason why Ruto feels the two might block him from vying for the top seat. Share this article with your friends and remember to follow us for more updates.
