
In what seems to be a show of might the cabinet secretary in charge of interior coordination Kithure Kindiki has already landed in Turkana where he was welcomed by a special forces from the police unit. This coming just a few hours after hosting leaders drawn from Wajir who paid him a courtesy call at his office.

The cabinet secretary showed up fully dressed in police uniform a clear indication of his authority and his seniority and as he sought to meet with specialised forces from the Kenya police.

Among the team that the cabinet secretary met today included the general service unit GSU, RDU AND CIPU who play a critical role in ensuring that Kenyan borders are safe and free from external attacks.
Speaking at the event the cabinet secretary has revealed that route of administration is keen on ensuring that the services of the specialised police in the country are well taken care of and their needs met at appropriate time. This is the first visit that he is making to the said County after his elevation to become a cabinet minister.
