According to Speaker Justin Muturi, the Mt Kenya region tycoons cannot pretend to interview presidential candidates. This are some of the sentiments also echoed by William Ruto who has made it clear that he cannot allow himself into such a charade.

Muturi has also been on record supporting the bottom up economic model to uplift the lives of the poor saying Kenyans should thank Ruto for his unwavering support to the poor as well churches. This is a confirmation that moving into the 2022 general election, the speaker might join hands with William Ruto.
Muturi has been on record also revealing that William Ruto is a leader who has the best interest of the people at heart. It's such issues that confirm he was clearly ripe for the top seat moving into the 2022 general election especially given his way if looking at issues affecting the common man.
However as we move into the 2022 general election only time will tell of what will unfold. The fact of the matter is that speaker Muturi is ready to spearhead the bottom up economic model moving into the 2022 general election and that has been seen through his several communications which mean he supports Ruto though indirectly.
