Azimio Coalition Presidential running mate Martha Karua of Laikipia County awaits, as she intensifies her campaigns in the Mt. Kenya region, behind Raila Odinga of State House's bid to call on residents' rally.
The Narc-Kenya leader will be hosted by the incumbent Governor Ndiritu Muriithi, Laikipia North Parliament aspirants including Sarah Korere, Matthew Lempurkel and former Munguki cult leader Maina Njenga.
During her previous campaigns in Kirinyaga, Embu, Meru, Nyeri and Kiambu, Karua has affirmed that it is only under Odinga's leadership that the country would achieve real reform and be freed from the shackles of corruption.
Until then, the Kenya Kwanza Alliance team, led by Vice President William Ruto, will kick off a three-day tour of the western region with campaign events in Kakamega, Bungoma and Vihiga Counties.
Ruto, running mate Rigathi Gachagua and Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi are expected to address supporters during the various campaign ends.
