With less than a year before the 2022 election, the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta has been a topic of discussion and has led to the emergence of three political groups the two expecting endorsements from the deep state and the President.
According to the former senate deputy speaker Kithure Kindiki, It is now very clear who the ruling Jubilee party and ODM will settle as their 2022 flag bearer and they will battle with the lone deputy president range and he is likely to clinch the top seat after next years polls.
This comes at a time when President Uhuru Kenyatta has fully barked ODM leader Raila Odinga with Gideon Moi as his running in a battle to clinch the top seat as they battle with the second in command who has been the most favourite to be the next president of the country.
"It is clear who the Jubilee/ODM will front as the State candidate for the Presidency. The so-called OKA will field theirs separately. In the unlikely event of no clear winner with 50+1 in the first round, they will gang up to support Tinga to try and stop William Ruto. However, it is already too late. William Ruto will beat them in the first round and in the unlikely event of a re-run he will still beat them hands down".
Meanwhile, do you agree with senator Kithure Kindiki that the 2022 General Election will be a battle between Deputy President and the former Prime Minister, share your thoughts?
