Effects of Azimio Zoning: Azimio's Party Hits On Raila Losing Presidency To Ruto In Western Region

Democratic Action Party - Kenya aspirants have threatened to ditch Azimio - One Kenya following the zoning of regions for August race.

Speaking at Democratic Action Party - Kenya headquarters in Kakamega, the aspirant pointed a blame finger at Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga over the accusations of attempting to lock DAP-K candidates from vying for elective positions.

"If Baba comes to Kakamega county to propel about the six piece agenda, then I can promise him that he is going to fail" said DAP-K aspirant.

"We want Azimio - One Kenya to give us a fair chance to in elective contests. I want to assure all my supporters that I will be seeking Kakamega women rep seat on DAP-K party" Said Naomi Shionga, Women rep Aspirant.

Endorsing Narc Kenya Party leader Martha Karua's running mate candidature, DAP-K affiliates argued that Azimio should demonstrate democracy to all constituent parties in the coalition.

"Azimio leadership should walk the talk in terms of democracy with strict adherence to constitutionalism in respect to management affairs. All DAP-K candidates have valid certificates and have a right to vie for elective seats on DAP-K ticket" they added.

Downplaying Raila's move to instigate Lugari MP Ayub Savula's withdrawal from gubernatorial race ro deputize ODM candidate Fernandez Barasa, DAP-K alleged that there might be brewing intentions to jeopardize and sabotage DAP-K popularity especially in Mulembe nation.

"Going by the recent incident accorded to our deputy party leader Ayub Savula, there are possible plans to kill DAP-K's popularity in this region" DAP-K affiliates said.
