Evans Odhiambo Kidero is a Kenyan politician and former Governor of Nairobi County. He has been working closely with the government to make sure that Kenyans are taken care of. During his time, he was one of the best governor's that Nairobi had since he did a lot of things for them.
However, there is a trending photo of him in a shamba with some locals and it has led to a lot of reactions. In the photo, it looks like he was helping them but what caught the eye of the Kenyans is how he was dressed. He was in his shoes and at the same time he was holding the jembe with one hand. This made Kenyans believe that he was only doing this to pose for a photo.
Here are some of the comments:
Venick: From looting Nairobi County to having interest to doing the same in Homabay County.
Wangugw: Atimes live is humbling.
One thing I think, madam Hon. @gladyswanga is far ahead of him in terms of gubernatorial favourite.
Mwiy: Well well well. but that dress code vs farm work 🤔.
Mohamed: In Dholuo we say “Evans doyo”. Yani Evans is weeding.
Bwakali: this is show off nani hulima na official shoes ?.
Jaka: Evans is weeding in well polished shoes and a jacket?
The don: Publicity stunts. Who goes to a shamba with those shoes?
Kelvan: How do you hold jembe with one hand? Just for camera
Poisedon: Campaign period is surely upon us😂😂
Tanga: Expect more of this during this political season, after August 2022, hawa watu utawatafta na torch hautawapata.
Chebob: Politicians can do anything infront of Camera. Juzi si kuna mwingine alibebea wamama flani kuni. I wish i had the photo
Mabeo: Amesahau tai na koti... anyway, agriculture is the backbone our country.
