His Excellency Hon Lazarus Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi 🇲🇼 has arrived in Nairobi for a three-day State Visit of the Republic of Kenya.
The Malawi Head of State, who is accompanied by First Lady Mrs Monica Chakwera, will be the Chief Guest at this year's Mashujaa/Heroes Day celebrations at Wang'uru Stadium in Kirinyaga County on Wednesday, 20th October 2021.
The Malawi President was received by various Kenyan dignitaries among them ICT cabinet secretary Joe Mucheru among others.

On Thursday, 21st October 2021, President Chakwera and First Lady Mrs Monica Chakwera will be officially received at State House, Nairobi by their hosts President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.
The two heads of states are expected to hold bilateral talks aimed at strengthen the relationship between the two Countries. 
President Chakwera is the only foreign head of state who will be gracing tomorrow's Mashujaa Day Celebration that will be held in Kirinyaga County.
