Dramatic scenes have been reported in Meru County Assembly after a group of rowdy youths led by their MCAs stormed Meru County Assembly demanding that Gov Kawira Mwangaza should immediately leave the office over failed duties.
According to the viral video clip seen by this writer, the Irate Crowd is seen engaging police officers who have been deployed to prevent any possible chaos in the ongoing County Proceedings that will see Kawira Lose her Job or retain it.
But the move comes barely hours after the Governor Accused Senator Kathuri Murungi of inciting and sponsoring her impeachment motion after she refused to release kshs 100 Million for her CECs to get approved.
Nevertheless, She has said she was not going anywhere and wondered why MCAs were fighting her.
“They are reading papers at the assembly thinking we will look for them. Never! I will not be distracted but will focus on development," she added.
