The leading Telecommunications operators in kenya, Safaricom, has now dismissed the reports circulating in the social media claiming that it responded to remarks made by the Kenya kwanza Presidential running mate Rigathi Gachagua.
The Communications giant has flagged the information as 'Fake' content and asked Kenyans only to trust the information posted on their verified social media handles.
"Please note that all our official communication is shared through our verified social media channels."
While appearing in the Interview, Gachagua stated that if the Kenya kwanza forms the next Government, they will empower small business operators so that they can fall into the tax bracket, in order to help in the generation of more resources to the country.
He made the statement in the Kikuyu dialect and there were so many Interpretations with regards to it. Some people dragged Safaricom into the saga since Gachagua mentioned the company while in the interview.
