As Kenyans and the members of the two coalitions are eagerly waiting for the declaration that will be taken as the final, Speaker Wetangula has stated on his official twitter account that he held a meeting ahead of the announcement waited.
According to his message, the former Bungoma senator, Wetangula held a meeting happily engaged with the Law Society of Kenya, Nairobi Branch. Among those who were present is the chair, Ms. Helene Namisi.
"The @NAssemblyKE will endeavour to collaborate will all key stakeholders that are crucial for the passage of progressive legislation. Happy to engage with the Law Society of Kenya, Nairobi Branch, led by their chair, Ms.Helene Namisi, this morning", said Wetangula
"Encouraged them to uphold fidelity to the law, and to pay a lot of attention to the growth of the profession, while avoiding to be overrun by material desires.
Glad to note that a good number of them are offering pro bono services to Kenyans who cannot afford legal services", added Wetangula.
