Just in: Heavy Security as DP Ruto's Motorcade Heads to Bomas

Deputy President William Ruto and his wife Rachael Ruto have left their Karen home for Bomas of Kenya before to the IEBC's announcement of the presidential election results.

Chebukati stated in a statement that the commission will announce the winner at 3 p.m. on Monday.

Prior to the official announcement of results, Roots Party leader George Wajackoyah and Agano's David Mwaure have arrived at the Bomas of Kenya auditorium.

The choir is now entertaining lawmakers at the national counting center.

On Sunday, the two top presidential candidates, Raila Odinga and Ruto, attended separate church services in Karen and urged their supporters to maintain tranquility and tolerance despite the escalating tension around the election.

Some of the top leaders who have arrived at the Bomas of Kenya include top leaders from Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance led by Raila Odinga, and Kenya Kwanza alliance leader Deputy President William Ruto.
