Preliminary By Election Results From Nguu/Masumba As Shared By Blogger Itumbi

Voters in Nguu/Masumba Ward today returned to polling stations to elect a new County Assembly Ward rep following the death of Harrison Ngui in June 2021. The by-election has 3 candidates Timothy Maneno (Independent), Eshio Mwaiwa (Wiper) and Daniel Musau (UDA).

Including is in progress in all surveying stations in the 34 surveying station and the votes will be delegated either legitimate or dismissed. A substantial vote is a vote that has been appropriately projected for an applicant

After counting, the PO will fill in structure 36A for Member of County Assembly and proclamation of dismissed voting forms where applicable.Ballot papers that don't bear the IEBC stamp on the back will likewise be treated as dismissed voting forms

Where a vote is being guaranteed by more than one competitor or specialist, the PO will include the vote for one applicant and imprint it "questioned." The Returning Officer will make the last decision on the vote

A 'dismissed polling form' is one which can't be counted because of ill-advised stamping by the citizen. Instances of this are polling forms which have more than one imprint, where the aim of the citizen can't be found out, or the elector can be distinguished by their imprint.
