Honorable Gladys Jepkirui Boss Shollei is the current Women Representative in Kenya's Rift Valley Province's Uasin Gishu county. On August 31, 2017, she was sworn in as the new women rep.

She is one of Kenya's most powerful female politicians. In Kenya's National Assembly, there are approximately 75 female representatives. Her primary responsibility as a women's representative is to promote the interests of women and girls in her county and throughout Kenya. She has been given the task of improving women's education. She also has the power to empower women by providing necessary funds to assist women from low-income families.
