On 18 September the president, H.E Dr. William Ruto, flew out of the country to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. After the funeral he headed to the United States of America for a United Nations General meeting.

Yesterday the President did give is address to the UN. He managed to talk about the challenges facing developing countries, the bottom up approach and the challenges that the whole globe faced during the Covid-19 pandemic. Many people across the world have reacted to the speech that Ruto gave saying it was a good speech.

In addition to the First Lady Ruto was accompanied with a group of powerful politicians. They include:

7.Hussein Muhammad - Director of Communication
8.David Ndii - Kenya Kwanza Economic Advisor.
