The long-awaited August 9th election day is with us, and the voting process is currently ongoing. It is due important that you exercise your democratic right by electing the leaders of your choice by visiting your polling station and voting.
In supporting Kenya during this election period, the president of the Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Samia Suluhu has urged the over 22 million registered voters to go and vote, saying that voting is important because it allows citizens to choose leaders they think are the right ones.
While wishing Kenya a prosperous general election, the sixth president of Tanzania also asked Kenyans to embrace peace, unity, love and solidarity.
Tanzanian President Samia Hassan: "I wish our Kenyans brothers and neighbors a good General Election. I ask and pray for Allah, that he be with you when you go to exercise your constitutional right to get the leaders you want, while you focus on maintaining peace, unity, love and solidarity. All the best."
Meanwhile, let's all be patriotic and say no to hate speech in this daring time that the country is in a political season.
