peris Tobiko, the Kajiado East member of parliament has gone public to respond to her husband just few hours after accusing her of hosting the deputy president William Ruto for a rally at their matrimonial home.
According to the lawmaker her husband has been used by her political opponents who are against the deputy president William Ruto's presidential bid to call a press conference to accuse her of not consulting him.
She further went ahead to note that no amount of intimidation will prevent from displaying her loyalty to the deputy president William Ruto under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.
"I am ready to campaign and defend deputy president William Ruto and no one will intimidate me," she said.
The deputy president William Ruto has been camping in Kajiado county where he has been drumming support for his presidential bid as well as explaining to the people how his bottom-up economic approach will benefit them if he wins the presidency.
