8William Ruto while touring Laikipia on Tuesday left the crowd in stitches after taking a swipe on Raila's Event on Friday. He wondered why Raila was organising such a huge event instead of hitting the ground rolling to campaign for his bid. He cautioned him not to claim that the votes were stollen next year when elections will be held.

He states that other politicians are waiting for endorsement from the head of state whose term is coming to an end. He told them that the president only has one vote and that Kenyans are the ones tasked with ensuring that the next president is elected.
Laikipia woman representative Cate Waruguru on the other hand was in the company of Ruto also sold the deputy president the locals. She claimed that the hustler nation is the best outfit to take over from president Uhuru Kenyatta in the 2022 poll. Ruto is in a one day tour of the area.
