The Jubilee Party headed by the president of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta, will a die a natural death according to Embakasi North Member of Parliament Hon James Gakuya. Gakuya was speaking on a breakfast show held in one of the local media station in the country.
When asked about the what the Jubilee Party plans are on the political alignment and realignment witnessed in the country and the likes of ODM party restructuring, his answer was simple. He said, if the President Kenyatta, who is the Party Leader, decides not field a presidential candidate in the forthcoming general election, the party will die a natural death.
The Legislator however, said that there's still a possibility of the President and his deputy William Ruto reconciling and fielding a candidate. Hon. Gakuya added that politics has no permanent enemies and going by that scenario, Jubilee Party, may avoid being disbanded by fielding their candidate (William Ruto).
On matters One Kenya Alliance, Gakuya said the alliance needs Raila Odinga more he needs them. And anyone dismissing his support is doomed to fail.
