IEBC Announces 6,567,869 Votes Cast So Far, That Is 30.66%.
During their first press conference of the day, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) announced that so far, there are 6,567,869 votes which have been cast and this translates to about 30.66%.
The turnout was at 30.66% despite several challenges during the voting exercise as the KIEMS kits were the main issue due to their failures.
The IEBC stated that they expect more voter's to turn up for for the exercise across the county.
This was the first update by the IEBC on the polls Which are ongoing in the whole country and they will give out more updates soon.
