An outspoken Member of Parliament from a constituency in Western Kenya left partygoers at an upmarket hotel in Nairobi in shock. This is after the parliamentarian left the guests he was treating to spend time with a Nairobi Socialite. This is according to the Nation Newspaper on Monday, February 15, 2021.
The incident happened on Valentine's Day- a day set aside for loved ones. According to the article, the legislator was entertaining a few guests when a socialite showed up at the premises. The two acquaintances resorted to booking a room in the same hotel.
What shocked, the revellers is that the MP disappeared for three hours with the socialite then returned as if nothing had happened. The MP requested his guests not to leave and left them to themselves. He showed up when he was done with 'business'. The said socialite did not bother acknowledging the guests who were with the MP.
