CS Peter Munya had gone to campaign for Raila's statehouse bid ambitions but immediately he stepped in Nkubu town he met an hostile crowd chanting in UDA and Ruto's slogans. Efforts by the Agriculture CS to claim he comes from Azimio fell in deaf ears.

Some leaders have been claiming they have the votes of Mt Kenya region but it's clear Munya has come to realize that he doesn't have the votes of Meru residents as he alleges. At the moment, it's clear Ruto's wave in Meru County is too strong for Azimio to even imagine or comprehend.
Munya and Kiraitu efforts to change the people of Meru County against the deputy President William Ruto have been futile. It's clear, the UDA wave has been overly strong and it's for this reason that Munya has severally braced hostile crowds who are against his messages.
As always, let's wait and see of whether Azimio will be able to get votes in Mt Kenya against Ruto's wave which seems lethal and powerful. Munya has faced embarrassing moments severally in Meru with the people making it clear they will strongly back Ruto's bid against Azimio where the CS belongs.
