Uhuru will be looking to stamp his authority in the region after suffering defeats in the last by-elections in Rurii and Juja. Ruto on the other hand is set to show Uhuru that he is not such easy and that he can still beat him on his turf.
DP Ruto's UDA party has received a major boost after Willie Mbugua, one of the Kiambaa parliamentary candidates, withdrew in support of UDA's candidate John Njuguna.
Mbugua is the recent aspirant to join UDA while others have joined the bandwagon in recent weeks.
Already, UDA's victory in Kiambaa has been nearing as the Tangatanga Mount Kenya faction intensifies its campaigns in Kiambaa. Among those campaigning for UDA include Moses Kuria, Rigati Gachagua, Irungu Kang'ata, Kimani Ichungwah, Gathoni Wamuchomba among others.
