Lieutenant Colonel Damaris Agnetta has been named as President William Ruto's female aide-de-camp, according to State House. In this development, the new President appointed Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga to take over as his new ADC from Brigadier Timothy Stelu Lekolool, who has been re-deployed to the DoD.

Lt. Col. Damaris will thus serve as Colonel Lengusuranga's deputy up till further notice. Both Lieutenant Colonel Damaris Agnetta and Colonel Lengusuranga are Kenyan Army personnel. Dr. Ruto traveled with a new ADC to the funeral of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's brother in Nyeri.
On Monday, Dr. Ruto went outdoors with Colonel Rachael Nduta Kamui of the Kenya Air to view construction sites in Nairobi. Colonel Nduta, a female ADC, served as Brigadier Stelu's assistant at the time.
Since September 13, 2022, when the fifth President of the country was sworn in, Brigadier Stelu and Colonel Nduta, who serves as his deputy, have both been employed by the new President.
