The 2022 general election is fast approaching and several political aspirants are preparing adequately to retain their seats or compete in other positions of their choice.
Gubernatorial seat is among the most eyed position in the coming elections, several MPs, senators and even women representatives are ganging up to send the current Governors home and their positions.
The Kirinyaga Gubernatorial seat is the latest that is drawing a lot of heat and concerns. The current Governor Ann Waiguru will face hard time in defending her seat this is after the current women representative of Kirinyaga Hon Purity Wangui Ngirici who is very much famous in the region showed interest for the seat.
Ngirici is a billionaire and a strong ally of Dp Ruto and will run the Gubernatorial seat through the UDA party. She has already started early campaigns in the region this is after inviting Dp Ruto in various parts of the region and its by fact that she is deeply rooted in Kirinyaga County.
