Narok County Senator, Ledama Olekina, who is an ally to the Azimio coalition, tweeted something that attracted reactions from Kenyans on social media. He recalls the struggles that were associated with the year 2022 in his political battle, claiming that he narrowly escaped the death waged by his opponents, the Hustlers.
On August 15, during the declaration of presidential results, Ledama was seen among the Azimio luminaries who tried to cause commotion in an unsuccessful attempt to stop IEBC Chair Wafula Cheukati from declaring the president elect at the Bomas of Kenya. When the fight erupted, pushing and pulling were noticed, which led to the throwing of seats, ensuring there was no room for the declaration of the results.
Yesterday, Senator Ledama said that it is one day before he forgets the year 2022, when he was almost killed by hustlers for demanding the truth. He added that politics will show us a lot, and Governor Mandago was right when he said politics should not be taken to heart.
Kenyans filled the comment section, with some supporting his fight in politics while others accused him of appearing among politicians who caused chaos in Bomas.
