Dr William Samoe Ruto is one of the Politicians in the country who have expressed their interest in running for the presidential seat in Kenya come 2022. Ruto who is the current deputy president of Kenya is seeking to succeed his boss, president Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta having served as his deputy for almost ten years now. Since making this declaration, Dr Ruto have been going round the country trying to popularize his name ahead of this much awaited polls.
Now, today, Dr William Ruto together with his Tangatanga brigade are reported to have won a big deal on their 2022 journey. This came it after some good news were reported from Raila Odinga's strongholds i.e Western and Ukambani region.
As reported by the Standard digital, the western region and Ukambani region have declared that they are going to vote for Ruto come 2022 only in one condition. This condition is if Musalia Mudavadi who is the Political kingpin of the western region and Kalonzo Musyoka who is the Kingpin of Ukambani region will fail to vie for the country's presidential seat come 2022.
According to these reports, the residents of these two regions have said that they aren't going to vote for any other candidate if not their two kingpins but as an option, they will vote for Ruto. This is a big win to Ruto who is eyeing to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta as the head of state.
