The eve of the political season is at its peak. Politicians are selling their valuable manifesto to the public. Ndia Constituency in Kirinyaga County has not been left behind with the upcoming politicians. This time around, gender sensitivity has dawned on Kirinyaga county residents. Courtesy

Waguthii Muchoki is an aspirant for the Parliamentary seat in the Ndia constituency. Popularly known as #theGameChanger, she overwhelmed the crowd at Kiandai village when she joined AIPCA church on Sunday. Church members warmly welcomed her with ululations saying that their daughter has brought leadership at home.

The Clergies in the church also took the chance to introduce her to the members of the congregation. The church Arch Deacon, Mr. Kuruga, and his counterpart Mr. Mugo were so amazed at the sight of the charming woman. He could not continue with the sermon before she called her for prayers. Courtesy

The climax reached when Waguthii was given a microphone to address the congregants. She said that Women are multitaskers and can manage to work regardless of the difficulties they face. She reminded people that the time has come for the management of government resources to be trusted on women. This is because men have failed to show due diligence in managing public money.

Waguthii also encouraged other women to come in front and take the lead. She promised the residents that if they entrust her to Ndia Constituency, she would deliver what other Parliamentarians have failed to do in the past. Her voice was so calm that residents paid attention without any distraction. Residents have promised to support her in her bid for the seat.
