Speaking at a political rally of Kenya Kwanza, the vocal MP says he is hitherto used to being arrested every time without substantive reasons.

The MP says he is always arrested on Fridays to spend weekends in police cell and released on Mondays.

''Mimi nimezoea kushikwa. Huwa nashikwa siku ya Ijumaa, naachiliwa siku ya Jumatatu. Wakati nilikuwa nimesimama na Mheshimiwa William Ruto nilifunguliwa kesi karibu kumi na mbili lakini kesi zote ziliporomoka kwa sababu ya Mwenyezi Mungu,'' said Barasa.
