Deputy President can today sleep a happy man after the recent revelation by Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju. According to Tuju, the only reason why the party is at loggerhead with the second in command is because of his stand on BBI. Other than that the party acknowledges him as the second in command.

This is the complete opposite of what the party held a few months ago. At the beginning of the year jubilee party expelled Ruto from his position as deputy party chairman on grounds that he did not comply with the party rule. However, the sudden change raises more questions than answers.
Could it be that the rumored alliance between Raila and Ruto would have sent shivers on the Jubilee party hence informed their decision today? Ruto has continued to receive overwhelming support across the nation with many political commentators stating that he is the man to watch come 2022.
