Announcement That Lawyer Who Recently Took To Court Makes After Noticing Something Else

A lawyer who earlier complimented President William Ruto has since taken aim at him for his involvement in the movement to change the constitution.

Ruto's suggestions, according to the President of the LSK, Eric Theuri, have been taken directly from the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), which the courts have ruled to be unconstitutional.

On Friday, Ruto sent a letter to the two chambers of the parliament requesting modifications, one of which was the establishment of an office for the Official Leader of the Opposition.

But Theuri is accusing him of trying to make measures that have been forbidden by the Supreme Court, and he has vowed that he would not allow them to pass even though he is accusing him of doing so.

He has stated that as lawyers they will reject the initiative, while accusing Ruto of trying to mutilate a constitution that he only recently vowed to protect. He made this accusation while speaking about the initiative.

According to a comment that was published in The Star, he said that "the President is on a dazzling race to mutilate the Constitution even before the ink dries on the oath he signed to uphold it."

It is interesting to note that this development took place only a few days after Deputy Prime Minister William Ruto showered admiration on him for not organizing protests against him regarding his pick of PSs.

This comes as a result of earlier legal action taken by the LSK, in which they accused him of favoring members of a select group of tribes over members of the other tribes when filling available posts.

"It is not a bad idea to take the government to court, and in fact, my very good friend Eric Theuri did so very recently over certain appointments I made. If I come out on the losing end, I will accept it "A statement made by Ruto earlier in the month

These comments were delivered by Ruto as a jab at the leader of the Azimio party, Raila Odinga, who had previously vowed to organize protests against the government of Kenya.
