Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi: " I Will Create Hope For the Hopeless"

Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi a former Secretary-general for United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, UNCTAD has jetted back into the country to focus on his presidential race, 2022.
Dr. Kituyi's political journey started back in 1992 when he was first elected as the member of National Assembly for Kimilili constituency on a Ford Kenya ticket. He was re-elected twice and In the 2007 general elections, Dr.Kitui lost to David Eseli of Ford Kenya.
His ambitions to lead did not stop there and in 2013 elections, he contested for Senatorial race Bungoma County, and lost to Senator Moses Wetang'ula.
His resignation as the Secretary-general UNCTAD, has received mixed reactions from from a section of Kenyans as to why he stepped down from such a lucrative position amidist Covid-19 pandemic as to many Citizens especially the youths are jobless and are in dire need of employment.
Speaking to journalist at Serena Hotel, Nairobi, Dr Kituyi said that he will launch his presidential bid later in the country but first, he will seek to learn the issues that affects the Kenyan people and the journey of understanding will start in Western Kenya and later to other parts of the Country.
Following his arrival in the country to join the presidential race, its now upon him to convince Kenyans that his massive experience in Politics, Governance and international relations is good to revamp the economy.
