William Ruto Meets Politicians From Makueni At Karen Residence

It has been a jubilation in Deputy President's camp since the nullification of BBI amendment Bill by Court of Appeal last week. Through the 'hustler nation' narrative and the 'Bottom-Up Economy' idea, the second in command has been encouraging farmers, young business personnels and other hustlers across the country by giving support through funding and educating them. This idea has been recently been opposed by former Prime Minister Rt Hon. Raila Odinga that the idea is aiming at dividing the country into class wars instead of uniting everyone.

President Uhuru Kenyatta on State House interview also termed Ruto's idea as a means he's using to cling to power come next year election. He asked his deputy to resign since he had been opposing his government, this has sparked reactions among Ruto's allies who asked the president to lead as example.

Despite the intimidations, Ruto went ahead and met political leaders and grassroots from Makueni at his Karen resistance to discuss some crucial issues in bettermeny of the economy. He told politicians the following, "It is possible to uplift the poor, the jobless, the despised and the oppressed through carefully considered and planned development programs. Let us engage, walk together, change the foundation of our politics and create economic opportunities for all."
