Former Mukuruweini Member of Parliament Kabando Wa Kabando has openly differs to Gatundu South Member Of Parliament Moses Kuria's Wish list to whichever Presidential candidate visiting the rich in votes mountain in hunts for votes, saying Mount Kenya does not need the President or Deputy to prosper as the country political tempo takes shape.
This is after Moses Kuria in unison to other leaders pushing for the Mountain unity among them Martha Karua, TSP leader Mwangi Kiunjuri reveals, Mt. Kenya wish list includes position of Deputy President, 7 Cabinet Secretary and equitable sharing of nomination and Ambassador position in next government.
However, Kabando has dismissed the Deputy or President demand in wish list, saying he totally disagree that the ethnic Central group need the DP or President Position to prosper or be secure as President term elapse in next 11 months. According to Kabando Wa Kabando, the region only need nationalist visionaries.
"I fully agree @Matha Karua @Hon Kabogo @Hon Kiunjuri @Hon Moses Kuria: Equality of the votes and equitable distribution of resources. I however disagree that our ethnic groups needs post of President/ Deputy President to be secure or prosper. We only need nationalist Visionaries." The Outspoken Leader penned to his twitter page.
This comes at times, Presidential aspirants on Wiper ticket Kalonzo Musyoka kick starts her Mountain visit with a courtesy call to Kirinyaga Ann Waiguru days after Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and William Ruto just but a few climb the Mountain amid hunts for enough support ahead of the battle bruise.
