Change Of Tune Musalia Mudavadi Takes Swipe at Raila on Endorsements

In an apparent swipe at ODM leader Raila Odinga, Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has said the next President will be elected by the people, not through endorsements from individuals.

"No amount of underwriting from intrigued players will make one President. The main support that will count and the one I need is that of the citizens. I look for the underwriting, all things considered, to have the option to serve them as their next president," he said 

The Mount Kenya Foundation, an incredible campaign of business magnates from the locale, facilitated a lunch get-together for Mr Odinga last week, where the gathering seemed to underwrite him for President in 2022. 

The gathering had intended to have the fourfold of Mr Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Gideon Moi (Kanu) and Moses Wetang'ula (Ford Kenya) last Friday however the gathering was delayed because of strategic issues. 

Mr Mudavadi excused supports from such gatherings as simple ideas that may not mean votes, provoking youngsters to turn out in enormous numbers and register as electors in the mass posting drive that began on Monday.
