JUST IN: Another Big Blow to President William Ruto as Numerous UDA Allies Join the Azimio Coalition

As numerous United Democratic Alliance (UDA) partners reverse course and join the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance, former prime minister Raila Odinga benefits greatly. The Western Kenya region may be a metropolitan area made up of many political factions vying for increasing influence there.

However, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and the Democratic Action Party, which are well-known in the Western Kenya region, are included in Raila Odinga's Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance.

On the other hand, the United Democratic Alliance, Amani National Congress, and Ford Kenya, which are well-liked in the Western Kenya region, are part of President William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza party.

As a result, candidates from the DAP-K, UDA, and Ford Kenya parties—allies of Azimio la Umoja—can run in the Bungoma senatorial contest.

However, the Kenya Kwanza Allied-United Democratic Alliance party provides detectors to Democratic Action Party leader Wafula Wamunyinyi. As a result, the detectors reject the UDA candidate and back Wafula Wamunyinyi of Azimio.
